 The Basics
The Level I Yoga Teacher Training will provide in-depth information and fundamental tools for teaching yoga. It can serve as the foundation for one’s journey towards becoming a yoga teacher, or can support those students who wish to deepen their own practice and understanding of yoga.

- One weekend per month for five months: Friday evening, all day Saturday and Sunday, September through January
- Attendance at no less than 55 asana classes with the Primary Teachers

Cost for 200-hour Training:
- To be considered for the 200-hour training, all applications must include a non-refundable $50 application fee and a $500 deposit (separate checks please). If accepted into program the $500 deposit will be deducted from the full tuition. If an applicant is not accepted into the program the $500 deposit will be refunded. Deposit is non-refundable after September 12, 2008.
- The cost of the 200-hour Teacher Training program is $2900 if paid in four monthly payments or $2700 if paid in full by August 31, 2008 or
- Monthly payments will be divided as followed:
$2900 minus the $500 deposit = $2400. Four equal payments of $600 will be due by September 12, October 17, November 21, and December 19. The first payment is required by September 12, 2008.
- The cost of the training includes all materials, (excluding text books) and unlimited classes at Birchwood Center for the duration of the program. Trainees will receive a 10% discount on all workshops offered at Birchwood as well as a 10% discount at Birchwood Yoga Essentials. (Some restrictions apply.)
