Birchwood Center offers a 200-hour Level I and a 500-hour Advanced Level Yoga Teacher Certification

Our 200-hour Level I Yoga Teacher Training is an intensive seven month program for aspiring teachers and those who wish to deepen their experience of Yoga. The Level I training will provide in-depth information and fundamental tools for teaching yoga. It can serve as the foundation for one’s journey towards becoming a yoga teacher, or can support those students who wish to deepen their own practice and understanding of yoga. Applicants to the 200-hour training should have a minimum of six months of yoga practice.

The 300-hour Advanced Level Yoga Teacher Training expands upon and integrates the information from Level I and incorporates a more complex study of philosophy, asana, pranayama and applied teaching techniques. This training is appropriate for those who are dedicated to teaching and committed to making yoga an integral part of their lives. Teachers with a 200-hour certification from Birchwood Center or another qualified school may participate in the five month 300-hour program to complete their 500-hour certification. Students who wish to enroll in the full 500-hour Advanced Level Yoga Teacher Training should be experienced yogis with a minimum one year of substantial yoga practice.
