Family Fun Yoga ~ For Kids & Their Parents

An opportunity for children and parents to explore yoga together at Birchwood Center

Nyack, NY (October 9, 2003) -- On Sunday, October 26, from 2:00pm - 3:00pm, Birchwood Center in Nyack, NY, will host a special event just for families. Family Fun Yoga ~ For Kids & Their Parents is open to children ages 6 years and up. Participants will take pleasure in a joyful hour of movement, stillness, and connection taught by Betsy Ceva, director of Birchwood Center for Yoga. The fee is $18.00 per child with one adult.

"Parents today are always looking for meaningful and fun things to do with their children," says Betsy Ceva, "and our Yoga For Kids classes have been an incredible addition to Birchwood's regular yoga offerings. We realized that adults and children both benefit a lot from yoga so what could be more meaningful and bonding than the opportunity for families to meditate, relax, and move together?"

But Family Fun Yoga ~ For Kids & Their Parents isn't just fun and games. Ceva will teach participants a variety of yoga poses, breathing techniques, and meditation. Family Fun Yoga ~ For Kids & Their Parents is designed to be a playful and nourishing experience for children and their parents.

Birchwood Center is located at 85 South Broadway in Nyack, NY, and is available for private lectures and introductory classes on the benefits of yoga and massage for businesses at their site. Private workshops at the Birchwood Center can also be arranged.
